In the early sixties, in a basement in Caino, in the province of Brescia, a predominantly steel-working area, the Tapini brothers decided to put their dream as entrepreneurs into practice and in 1963 they founded SAV, a manufacturing company that for more than fifty years has been hot-pressing steel for the construction of various made-to-order components.
Over the years, sacrifice and dedication to their work has enabled the company to carve and develop a leading niche role within the main industrial sectors and reach its predetermined goals, in collaboration with clients and suppliers.
Today SAV has four pressing lines and operates over an area of 8,000 square meters, 3,000 square meters of which are internal.

Mission
Having received an order from the customer, SAV’s main objective is the production of items to order by designing and producing all the equipment necessary for the moulding process.
Subsequently, in agreement with the customer, we proceed with the precision machining and surface finishing (galvanizing, coating, phosphating, induction hardening etc.).
It is very important for us to emphasise that the goal SAV has pursued for more than fifty years in business, in collaboration with its customers and suppliers, is to provide a quality product. Quality that translates as respect for delivery dates, careful selection of the best steel, adhering scrupulously to supply specifications, but above all, as a continuous effort to improve the service we offer.
This commitment is evidenced by our achievement of ISO 9001: 2008 certification for our production process.
